Injured AEW Talent Spotted in Double Or Nothing Location — Report

An injured former champion has reportedly been spotted at the AEW Double or Nothing location.
The eighth annual AEW Double or Nothing PPV will take place later tonight at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. Ahead of the event, Fightful Select has reported that former three-time TNT Champion Wardlow is in town. However, it’s unclear if he will appear at the show.
Wardlow returned to AEW in August 2025 at the Forbidden Door event, where he attacked Prince Nana and joined the Don Callis Family. However, he suffered a torn pectoral muscle shortly after that and has been on the sidelines ever since. The 38-year-old hasn’t wrestled in AEW since the March 13, 2024, episode of Dynamite, where he unsuccessfully challenged Samoa Joe for the World Championship.
While he has been away from an AEW ring, Wardlow filmed the American Gladiator reboot, which is currently airing on Amazon Prime. During a recent interview with BCP+, he revealed that he had fully torn his left biceps ahead of filming for the competition series. However, he added that he chose not to undergo surgery and wore a sleeve to hide the discoloration on his arm. He also revealed that he’s close to returning from the injury.
Sources mentioned that Wardlow has been at several AEW shows as he works his way towards getting cleared, saying this isn’t out of the ordinary. He was also backstage for the Revolution PPV back in March.
