Tony Khan Confirms Mick Foley Will Make AEW Debut At Double Or Nothing

Mick Foley is all elite!
On X, All Elite Wrestling President and CEO Tony Khan recently confirmed Foley’s AEW debut for Double or Nothing 2026 this Sunday. The wrestling icon will appear on the pre-show alongside Renee Paquette to preview the lineup for the May 24 PPV event.
“Before #AEWDoN, watch the The Buy In FREE before the ppv THIS SUNDAY! Your new co-hosts are @ReneePaquette & Mick Foley! Foley’s coming back to TBS, where he ran wild as Cactus Jack! Don’t miss his first night in AEW on Sunday + see you for Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite TONIGHT!”
Recent reports indicated that AEW has “real interest” in signing Foley once his WWE legend’s contract expires next month.
Mick Foley cut ties with WWE over its connection to Donald Trump
It is worth noting that Foley parted ways with WWE in December after raising concerns over the company’s alleged ties to the current White House administration. WWE later removed him from an event and replaced him with Austin Theory.
Foley recently told Orlando Weekly that the decision to cut ties with WWE has cost him some fans. However, he made it clear that he stays away from politics during his comedy show, which he was on tour for earlier this year.
“People know that I’m not on board with a lot of things the current administration is doing,” Mick Foley said. “I have fans who feel different, and still like and support me. And I have [fans] who dropped out of the fandom, which is obviously their right. People know I’m outspoken. But the closest I get to making a political statement in the show is saying that kindness is cool.”
Former AEW World Champion MJF also reacted to Foley’s signing with the promotion. WrestleZone will provide live coverage of AEW Double or Nothing this Sunday.
