Rhea Ripley and Jade Cargill Engage in Heated Social Media Exchange

Ripley secured her spot at WWE WrestleMania 42 after winning at WWE Elimination Chamber. She will now challenge Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship. Just one day after the event, the two stars got into a heated exchange on X, formerly known as Twitter.
After her win, Ripley reacted to a post highlighting her WrestleMania record. The post noted that she will compete at her seventh straight WrestleMania and has fought for a title each time. Ripley replied confidently, “Guess… I’m that bitch ?” Cargill quickly fired back, writing, “No boo. You were the second option ??. @ me next time so I see it.”
Ripley responded by sharing old interview clips from 2023 and 2024 where Cargill called her a dream opponent. Cargill answered with another jab, suggesting WWE’s social team helps keep Ripley on top heading into WrestleMania. She wrote, “Which member of our social team found that video for you? Cause we know they always find a way to keep you ‘on top’ going into Mania.”
Ripley shot back, saying, “All you seem to do is talk… And that’s literally it.” Jade Cargill replied again, joking that Ripley spends hours talking to WWE creative for better stories and TV time. “Talk??? Like the hours you spend talking to creative? ??”
Ripley did not hold back. She accused Cargill of spreading lies and told her to stop making false claims. Cargill ended the exchange with, “Hit dogs will holler. Holla holla holla ?” With both women set to clash at WrestleMania 42, the rivalry is already heating up.
