WWE Files For Becky Lynch-Related Trademark
WWE has filed a new trademark that could relate to relates to an old Becky Lynch name that WWE had previously held onto.
According to a new filing from WWE with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, WWE filed a trademark for the term “Lasskicker.”
The term likely relates to Becky Lynch, who goes by many nicknames, and is actually not new to WWE. WWE had previously filed for the trademark, but it was later abandoned due to a late response.
This new trademark is likely just a re-filing from WWE. Lynch has used the name in the past, but not any time recently, so WWE may just be filing it to make sure no one else is able to use it.
While Lynch doesn’t go by the Lasskicker anymore, she’ll be hoping to channel that old self this weekend. Lynch is set to compete against AJ Lee at WWE’s Elimination Chamber, where she’ll be defending her WWE Women’s International Championship in front of a crowd that will undoubtedly be wanting to see Lee win.
