Darby Allin Involved In Insane Marriage Proposal
Darby Allin was involved in a fiery marriage proposal.
AEW star Darby Allin famously set Jack Perry on fire using a flamethrower at Double or Nothing 2024. He has now taken a page out of his own book and lit his own brother on fire as the latter proposed to his girlfriend.
Taking to Instagram, Darby Allin posted a video of his brother proposing to his girlfriend. But it wasn’t a regular proposal, as Allin set his brother on fire before the latter got down on his knee. The AEW star also handed a fire extinguisher to the girl, but instead of putting out the flames or saying yes/no, she got scared and ran away, leaving Allin’s brother to stop, drop, and roll.
“MARRIAGE PROPOSAL GONE WRONG! My brother wanted me to light him on fire and he asked his girlfriend to marry him. She got cold feet and took off running instead of putting him out with the fire extinguisher. Maybe it wasn’t to be,” Allin posted.
Darby Allin Will Return To The Ring At AEW World’s End
Darby Allin suffered a head injury during his match against Kevin Knight in the Continental Classic Gold League last month. AEW then replaced Allin in the tournament with Jack Perry.
Following a brief hiatus, Darby Allin announced that he’s cleared to return to the ring on the December 24, 2025, episode of Dynamite. However, NJPW star Gabe Kidd attacked him and pushed him down a flight of stairs. Kidd then went on to challenge Allin for a match at AEW World’s End.
The match was made official when Allin appeared and accepted Gabe Kidd’s challenge at Christmas Collision. The two wrestlers will now square off at AEW World’s End tomorrow.
