WWE made sure a Brock Lesnar botch never aired on television.

Brock Lesnar suffered an embarrassing botch on the November 24, 2025, episode of WWE RAW, when he slipped and fell on the stage while doing his signature pose during his entrance. Fans got to witness the moment in its entirety as the show aired live all over the world, but WWE didn’t have that problem back when they were taping SmackDown in 2003.

Maffewgregg of Botchamania posted a video on Reddit, showing a live feed vs. televised footage of Brock Lesnar suffering a similar botch during the May 1, 2003, episode of SmackDown. In the live feed version, Lesnar, who was the reigning WWE Champion, accidentally dropped the title belt around his waist when he did his usual pose on the stage. The Beast Incarnate laughed it off and walked over to the ring, as he did with the recent botch.

However, the final aired footage featured an edited version that saw Brock Lesnar making his entrance with the title belt firmly around his waist. WWE was able to cut the botch out since the show was taped three days earlier.

Paul Heyman Says Brock Lesnar Turned His Botched Entrance Into A ‘GOAT Move’

During his recent appearance on ESPN’s First Take, Paul Heyman said that Brock Lesnar turned the unfortunate botch into a ‘GOAT move’ with how he reacted to it.

“Actually I think it is a GOAT move, and the reason that I think it was a GOAT move is because we all fumble at some point in the game. We all do,” Heyman explained. “There’s no such thing as someone who doesn’t fumble in life. Brock Lesnar turned a fumble into a touchdown just like that. [snaps fingers] He is the Beast, there’s no one like him.

“He’s one of one, look at that— boom! There was water on the entranceway,” Heyman continued. “He slips, falls, rolls through, comes up and there he is smiling and just coming down to the ring for war. Who else could do that but Brock Lesnar?”
