Xavier Woods Says He’s Suffering From ‘Searing Neck Pain’ After Taking This Move On WWE Raw
It’s been a rough two weeks for Xavier Woods.
First, his beloved, $18,000 hat was destroyed by Penta. Now, he’s apparently suffering from neck pain coming out of their match on WWE Raw.
On Tuesday morning, Woods lodged a complaint against Penta for using a prohibited move in their clash, which has now prompted Woods to seek out a medical evaluation.
“Last night I beat @PENTAELZEROM within an inch of his life,” Woods wrote on X alongside images from Raw. “He then cheated by using a Mexican Destroyer, which is an illegal piledriver that should be banned. I now am suffering from searing neck pain and will be getting my injury assessed by an accredited medical team.”

He then cheated by using a Mexican Destroyer, which is an illegal piledriver that should be banned.

In the closing moments of their singles encounter, Penta wiped out Kofi Kingston and Grayson Waller with a dive to the outside. Upon returning to the ring, Woods then rolled him up for a two count. Penta responded with a superkick before driving Woods into the mat with a Mexican Destroyer for the win.
As of this writing, the results of Woods’ accredited medical assessment are unknown. Meanwhile, Penta now looks ahead to next week’s episode of Raw in the UK, where he goes one-on-one with the other half of New Day, Kofi Kingston.
