Michin Is Tired Of Being ‘The Forgotten One’ In WWE
Michin says working with Jade Cargill is pretty simple: she wants vengeance.
WWE SmackDown star Michin spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard about aligning with Cargill, with whom she feuded last year. Michin says she and Jade squashed their beef, but her issues with Rhea Ripley go back to her days with AJ Styles and The OC.
“Since coming back to WWE, I’ve always had something against Rhea, only because she went after my boys, and I’m never going to forget nor forgive that,” Michin explained. “With me and Jade, it was between us, and we were able to squash that. But if you come after someone I love, there’s no squashing that. I’m not going to stop going after you until I feel like I’ve gotten my pound of flesh.
“So, the relationship between Jade and I is just that: we both have a common goal, and that is vengeance. I think after having the match with Jade as well, I was able to earn her respect because I wasn’t an easy win,” Michin added. “It showed her that I could be utilized, especially as muscle. So if she sets me out on a goal, I’ll get that accomplished. After that match, it was kind of an eye-opener for both of us like, ‘Hey, we could do so much more together.’”
Michin is tired of being overlooked
Michin has been on her own and part of groups like The OC and Retribution during her time in WWE. As Michin pointed out, she’s also gone without a title reign, and believes her alliance with Jade Cargill and B-Fab can change that.
“I’ve been an adversary, I’ve been the good guy, and what has that gotten me? I haven’t gotten one championship yet. I’m always on the back burner, always forgotten in conversations,” Michin said. “People talk about Chelsea everywhere, after the Dumpster Match, after the U.S. Championship, it’s always the other person they’re talking about.
“I’m always the forgotten one. So at this point, being good has gotten me nowhere,” she continued. “So now, I’m going with Jade and making people know who I am.”
