Tiffany Stratton Breaks Silence on WWE WrestleMania 42 Absence
Tiffany Stratton opened up about missing WWE WrestleMania 42.
Fans expected her to be there as many thought she would face Giulia for the WWE United States title. That match didn’t happen at WrestleMania. Instead, it took place last week on WWE SmackDown.
Stratton won the WWE Women’s title still, the WrestleMania absence stood out. Stratton had a major WrestleMania moment the previous year. She faced Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41. She retained her championship in that match.
That performance raised expectations for this year. Many believed she would have another big spot. However, she was left off the WrestleMania 42 card. Recently, Stratton spoke about that experience.
Tiffany Stratton reflects on missing WWE WrestleMania 42
Speaking with Joey Karni, Tiffany Stratton explained her approach. She said she focuses on her work every week. She said, “I feel like my mindset has always been just kind of controlling what I can control, which is making the most out of all my segments, making the most out of my matches, making sure I’m delivering on everything and having really good matches with everybody.”
She continued, “Unfortunately, being on WrestleMania wasn’t in the cards for me this year. However, that just kind of leaves me with a chip on my shoulder for next year, and I’m going to do everything in my power to never let that happen ever again.”
Stratton also spoke about what could come next. She believes missing this year could lead to something bigger. “I fully believe everything happens for a reason. Me not being on this year’s Mania is setting me up for something bigger. Whether that’s SummerSlam in Minnesota this year and fighting for the WWE Women’s Championship or main eventing next year’s WrestleMania, I fully believe everything happens for a reason.” [H/T: f4wonline]
