The finalists of the 12th TJPW Tokyo Princess Cup have been decided, with the winner earning a future Princess of Princess Championship shot.

On August 17th, TJPW hosted the semi-final round of this year’s Tokyo Princess Cup. In the semi-main event, fan favorite Arisu Endo picked up the victory over rising star Yuki Arai. Yuki previously challenged Princess of Princess Champion Mizuki at Summer Sun Princess. Unfortunately, Yuki was unsuccessful in that attempt.

Following their bout, two of TJPW’s top competitors in Miu Watanabe and Shoko Nakajima, squared off in the second semi-final match. Shoko had the experience advantage as a two-time Tokyo Princess Cup winner. However, it was Miu Watanabe who scored the three-count following her Tear Drop facebuster. Miu joins Arisu Endo as the two finalists of the tournament.

Between the two, Miu Watanabe has held the Princess of Princess Championship. She has also been a runner-up in the Tokyo Princess Cup before. Arisu Endo, on the other hand, has yet to capture singles championship gold. She is, nonetheless, a former Princess Tag Team Champion with her Daisy Monkey tag partner, Suzume.

Watanabe and Endo will face off in the finals on Saturday, August 23, in TJPW’s first Korakuen Hall show since February. The winner of the tournament shall earn a shot at the Princess of Princess Championship, currently held by Mizuki. The finals, as well as the other days of the tournament, will be available for live streaming on Wrestle Universe.
