Alexa Bliss Reveals The Biggest Unexpected Positive About Teaming with Charlotte Flair

Alexa Bliss is having a lot of fun being an Ally of Convenience.

Bliss recently spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard. During the interview, Bliss commented on her favorite part about teaming up with Charlotte Flair. The co-tag team champion said the storyline has been fun, but it also adds a nice sibling rivalry-like dynamic.

“It’s been a lot of fun! It’s been so fun. She’s incredible; she’s an incredible talent. She’s one of the best at what she does. I think for us, it’s having that fun little, sisterly dynamic,” Alexa explained. “I’m kinda like the annoying little sister and she’s the older sister that’s annoyed at me all the time. That’s been fun, and just playing off of each other to see where it goes. It’s been great.”

Charlotte credited Alexa Bliss as one of the reasons the WWE Universe has embraced her as a fan favorite. Flair said she wasn’t sure where she would be in WWE right now if she wasn’t working with Bliss, but said a few factors allowed fans to support her in an organic way.

During the SummerSlam recap show, Flair praised her tag team partner for making her feel as comfortable as Alexa Bliss has made her feel. Flair said all came down to the fact that both Flair and Bliss are able to work as a team and they do not lose their individuality.

“No, but like, to give Lexi her props, she is so… Like, a lot of characters rely on each other. Her character and my character, she doesn’t need someone. But it took a strong character like her to bring out the different side of my character. And I don’t think just another girl could have done that. So, that speaks volumes for Lexi to be able to like, to let my guard down… I don’t know. I don’t think you could have paired me with just anyone, and I would feel comfortable. Not even comfortable but like, I don’t have to lose my ego… My Flairness. Yeah,“ Charlotte Flair said.
