Kenny Omega Tests Positive For COVID-19

It is surely not a good moment for Kenny Omega, who has been forced to take a break after losing the AEW World Championship to Adam Page at Full Gear back in November due to multiple injuries.

The AEW star unfortunately joined his Elite stablemate Matt Jackson in testing positive for COVID-19. Omega announced it on Twitter to try and put an end to a long battle of tweets with several users, from whom he felt insulted in some replies to recent posts he made to hype women’s matches.

In one of his replies, Omega lost it and took a dig at Jim Cornette, who replied in his usual style. Kenny then apologized to the former manager and commentator while also revealing that he contracted the virus.
