CJ Perry Claims She Owns The ‘Lana’ Name, Headed To AEW?

Former WWE Superstar CJ Perry (Lana) appeared at an East Coast Autograph Auctions virtual signing over the weekend. During the signing, she claimed that she owns the name “Lana”. She said,

“I own that. Owning ‘Lana’ is like owning the name ‘Mike.’ You can’t. In my contract, they own Rusev because it’s so specific, but they don’t own Lana because you can’t. I would rather come out as Lana because at the end of the day, I would rather just not come out with my real name.”

When she was asked about the possibility of signing with AEW, she said,

“Well, I’m gonna’ tell you, stay tuned. I can’t give everything away. I can’t give all the hot tea right now.“
