WWE ID Star Signs Full-Time Contract With AAA Mexico

WWE ID’s Jack Cartwheel has signed a full-time contract with AAA.
During his recent interview on the Sports Jedi Network, Jack Cartwheel revealed that he has signed a full-time contract with AAA and that he’s no longer part of the WWE ID program.
“It is safe to say. Yes. I’ve asked, like, ‘Am I allowed to say that I’m contracted to AAA?’ So yes, and no longer WWE ID. I’m full on AAA now, but I do understand a lot of people have that idea that I’m still in ID. AAA guy. So, I’m really happy about it.”
Jack Cartwheel became part of the WWE ID program in November 2024. He was also very close to becoming the inaugural ID Men’s Champion, as he lost to Cappuccino Jones in the tournament finals that took place in GCW in August 2025.
WWE also announced on a recent episode of LFG Season 3 that NXT talent Drake Morreaux will move to AAA to work with The Undertaker.
Jack Cartwheel explains the benefits of WWE ID
During a conversation with Denise Salcedo, Jack Cartwheel explained how the indie promotions benefit from wrestlers joining the WWE ID program. He said the promotions will get a boost from having a WWE contracted wrestler at their shows. Up-and-coming wrestlers will also get the opportunity to be seen by WWE by competing against the ID prospects.
“I think it’s such a great thing. I don’t understand how anybody could think there is a negative side to it,” Jack Cartwheel said. “The idea that we will have WWE-signed talent coming to independent shows is such a great way for us to bring more attention to the independent shows. Perhaps they’ve been forgotten about or left to the side.”
“It gives a lot more attention to those promotions. Which is a great thing, and hopefully we can draw more people and attention to any show that we do. That’s why WWE ID is such a beneficial thing for the whole industry. Also, having any opponent that we’re having a match with, that match is going to be seen by WWE executives. Even if it is somebody who is pretty new to the business, we’re still going to send the match to them so we can know what they think of that match, that person gets an opportunity to be seen by very high ranking people in the company.”
