Major AEW Double or Nothing Odds Shift Hints at New Champion

Could AEW fans hear “AND NEW” when Double or Nothing takes place on Sunday night? That’s what oddsmakers seem to think.
AEW Double or Nothing will be main evented by Darby Allin and MJF in a hair vs title match. If MJF loses, he will be forced to shave his head. AEW has hilariously played this up on TV in recent weeks, including Allin attempting to shave MJF’s head on this week’s show.
Despite the teases that MJF might be looking like Mr. Clean on Sunday night, oddsmakers saw a dramatic shift that might tip things in his favor.
The current AEW Double or Nothing odds are in MJF’s favor
According to BetOnline.ag, MJF is now a big favorite to win the match and the title at AEW Double or Nothing. For context, the betting line originally opened with Allin favored at -400 and MJF at +250.
The AEW World Championship match isn’t the only bout that looks to crown a new champion, as Cage & Cope are also favored to beat FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
It’s worth noting that odds for the Women’s Owen Hart Tournament Quarterfinals matches were also announced, with Willow and Athena being favored in their respective matches. However, Willow is out of the tournament (and vacated the TBS Championship) due to injury, so she was replaced by an unnamed Wild Card opponent in her match against Alex Windsor.
