Talents In Detroit For WWE SummerSlam 2023, Zoey Stark On Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch

WWE SummerSlam 2023 takes place tonight at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.

Pwinsider reports that Jordan Devlin and Bronson Reed were among the talents brought to Detroit for WWE SummerSlam this weekend. Reed was previously scheduled for a signing at the SummerSlam store but was later replaced by Apollo Crews.

In addition, the backstage feeling is that last night’s SmackDown was “a little lighter” in terms of wrestlers and producers on hand for the show.

The SummerSlam Store in Detroit is selling exclusive Wrestling Buddies of Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, and The Undertaker.

During a recent interview with Ten Count Media, Zoey Stark discussed WWE’s controversial move to not book Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch at tonight’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event. Stark defended the decision calling Triple H a smart man and declaring there’s a reason for not opting to do the match at SummerSlam. She said,

“Hunter [Triple H] is a smart man. There is a reason, guys. He’s not just doing it to screw the women. He’s not. He’s doing it because he wants to make sure Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus have plenty of time to do it. I’m sure there are other reasons that come into play that we’re not even thinking about. When we get the match, and we will, it will be great and we will have plenty of time and it’s going to be a match well worth waiting for.”

Becky Lynch, who claims that she is not in Detroit for WWE SummerSlam, shared a post on Instagram. Lynch showed herself making some lemonade, writing,

“Making lemonade with all these lemons I’ve been given. What’s everyone else up to this weekend?!”
