Medical Update On Randy Orton Ahead Of WWE SummerSlam

A recent report via Fightful Select states in no uncertain terms that Randy Orton is far from being medically cleared to return to in-ring competition. This follows reports that ‘The Viper’ has been spotted in Detroit over the weekend.

Orton has been off television following the May 20th, 2022 episode of SmackDown, where he and Matt Riddle lost the RAW Tag Team Championships to The Usos. While Orton has undergone back surgery and is currently in the midst of rehab, he is noted to have had several nagging injuries during the time as well.

Orton is said to be working toward an in-ring return in the future, but there is no timeline as to when the WWE Universe might be able to see ‘The Apex Predator’ return.
