Grayson Waller’s Brutal NXT Men’s Division Comments Get Backing From WWE Star
Grayson Waller has received some unexpected backing for his recent comments about the current state of NXT’s men’s division.
Waller returned to NXT on the July 28 episode and delivered a shoot-style promo in which he praised the women’s division while claiming they were “running laps” around the men.
Kelani Jordan agrees with Waller’s assessment, although she admitted that the male wrestlers should probably take his comments personally.
During a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Jordan explained that the women’s division was proud of the recognition, adding that the women are not simply “good wrestlers for women,” but “great wrestlers in general.”

“On the women’s side, we think what Grayson said was awesome,” Jordan said. “He put over the women and said we are killing it. He gave us our props.”
Jordan added that she would be “a little pissed and hurt” if she were part of the NXT men’s division after hearing Waller’s comments. She believes the remarks could give the men extra motivation heading into matches or promos against him.

Jordan also discussed the continued growth of NXT’s women’s division and the opportunities the talent has received. She pointed to the increased amount of time given to women’s matches and the number of shows they have main evented as evidence of that progress.
She specifically recalled her 23-minute match with Kendal, noting that it was a sign of the trust Shawn Michaels has placed in them.
Both Waller and Jordan recently captured championship gold at NXT Heatwave, with Waller winning the NXT Championship and Jordan becoming the NXT Women’s Champion.
Jordan will put her title on the line against Jaida Parker later tonight on NXT.
