WWE Star Drops New Album Amid Ongoing TV Absence
Montez Ford has made his latest move outside the wrestling ring as he remains absent from WWE television.
The one-half of The Street Profits has released his third hip-hop album, “AfterTheTide,” which is now available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
After previously teasing the album, Ford announced its release with an Instagram carousel. The first clip shows him pushing himself up from a beach as the tide approaches, with red text reading “Available Now.”
The carousel also features two clips of Ford sitting on the beach in a suit and another showing him walking alongside the water while looking behind him. Each clip features “Welcome Home Baby” by The Shirelles.
The album cover features a wrestling ring engulfed in flames, surrounded by a crowd with the ocean visible in the background. Ford also shared the nine-song track listing.
In another post, Ford said all the songs were “written, arranged, directed, and curated” by himself, using his Big Tez moniker.
“AfterTheTide” marks Ford’s third album. He released “God Is Good” in February 2024 before following it with “Happy Birthday Tez!” in May of the same year.
Ford and Angelo Dawkins returned to WWE television in April after a six-month hiatus. The Street Profits last competed in July when they lost the World Tag Team Championship to The Vision after a two-week title reign.
Ford his wife, Bianca Belair, announced the birth of their son earlier this month.
