WWE Star Agrees With Grayson Waller’s Criticism of NXT Men’s Roster
WWE star Je’Von Evans has shared his thoughts on Grayson Waller’s recent comments about the NXT men’s division. A few weeks ago, Waller returned to NXT and did not hold back when discussing his WWE main roster run.
He criticized his time on the main roster and blamed backstage politics for some of his struggles. Waller also took shots at Austin Theory and targeted Tony D’Angelo during the segment. He argued that the NXT men’s division had become too comfortable.
Waller also admitted that never winning the NXT Championship still bothers him. He pointed to several former NXT Champions and argued that winning the title helped those stars establish themselves and become bigger names in WWE. His comments sparked a major reaction among fans on social media and within the WWE roster.

During a recent interview with The Wrestling Classic, Evans was asked about Waller’s comments and explained that he believes they could motivate the NXT roster. Evans said, “Oh, I mean, he was being real. He was being honest, you feel me? I feel like the roster, they’re trying to do their thing, but the women are going crazy right now, especially in NXT, you feel me?”
Evans acknowledged that the NXT roster is working hard, but he believes Waller’s comments could serve as a wake-up call for the men’s division. “And so, I really hope that woke up the men’s roster because if it didn’t, then Grayson is going to have to take over and become champion. Over the past few weeks, Evans has continued building momentum on WWE RAW. He has defeated Ethan Page and Rusev in singles matches in recent weeks.
