Bron Breakker-CM Punk WWE Raw Spot Blasted After Slow-Mo Makes Attacks Look Fake
Bron Breakker‘s attack on CM Punk from a 2025 episode of WWE RAW has come under scrutiny. This is after a slow-motion video highlighted how badly his punches appeared to miss.
The footage comes from the May 12, 2025, episode of WWE RAW, where Breakker attacked Punk. The punches already looked poorly executed at normal speed. Breakker appeared to miss Punk by a noticeable distance. The slow-motion footage only made the issue more apparent.
Former WWE star Val Venis reacted to the footage and criticized how WWE presented the segment.
“No matter how much of an unstoppable monster a talent is developed to be, it’s dirt like this, where I lose faith and interest in the show I am watching,” Venis wrote on X.
Several fans in the comments appeared to agree with Venis’ assessment.
“Awful. You saw it straight away no doubt Val,” one fan wrote.
Another fan questioned whether moments like this are simply part of modern wrestling, writing, “I don’t know what to think anymore. My instinct tells me this is the path of survival for WWE. Everything I’ve been taught screams bullshit just like you though.”
“This is a huge production fail. They shouldn’t use this angle,” another fan commented.
Breakker and Punk have since gone their separate ways. Breakker is set to face Oba Femi at Sunday Night’s Main Event. Meanwhile, Punk will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens on the August 21 episode of SmackDown in Toronto.
