Seth Rollins Says This WWE Royal Rumble Entrant Is Being Overlooked By Everyone

Seth Rollins has shared his prediction for the 2026 WWE Royal Rumble.

As the event approaches, fans have been wondering whether WWE Superstar Seth Rollins will be cleared in time to make his highly anticipated return at the over-the-top-rope spectacle.

For those unfamiliar, Rollins injured his shoulder at WWE Crown Jewel 2025 and was written off television in an angle that saw The Vision kick him out of the faction on the following episode of RAW.

The former World Heavyweight Champion recently spoke with ESPN’s Mike Greenberg in a new interview. During the conversation, the topic of Royal Rumble dark horses came up, prompting Rollins to put over two fellow WWE Superstars he’s all too familiar with.

“It’s like the NFL this season, because the parity’s crazy. I feel like it’s that way with WWE the Royal Rumble. Anything can happen. For me, on the men’s side, Rey Mysterio, he’s a legend. He’s won the Royal Rumble before, shockingly enough, as a guy who is as small as he is.

“But on the women’s side, there’s someone I feel like everyone is overlooking, and that is my wife, the one and only, The Man, Big Time Becks, Becky Lynch. She’s currently the Intercontinental Champion, she won the Royal Rumble before, she knows what it takes to win it again. And she’s operating at the highest level she has ever been at in her career right now. I got to give it up to the wife, man. I can’t, I can’t bet against her,” Rollins said.

Elsewhere in the segment, Seth Rollins provided an update on his WWE return, noting that while he doesn’t expect to be back this Saturday at the Royal Rumble, fans should see him in action sooner rather than later.

“Greeny, thank you guys for having me. Shoulder’s doing good, man. It’s doing good. I don’t know if it’s good enough to get me in the ring this Saturday in Riyadh in the Royal Rumble. But we’re on track to return sometime sooner rather than later,” Rollins said.
