WWE SmackDown Star Doesn’t Plan To Renew Their Contract — Report

We have a shocking update on the status of a WWE SmackDown Superstar.

In recent weeks on SmackDown, Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae have been appearing as a duo without Tommaso Ciampa. Initially, it was believed to be a storyline or that Ciampa was sidelined with an injury. However, a new report suggests there’s much more to his recent absence than that.

According to BodySlam+, Tommaso Ciampa’s WWE contract is set to expire soon, and he plans on finishing up his time with the company without renewing his current deal.

It’s unknown if Ciampa currently plans to explore his options and sign elsewhere. Or if he’s just looking to take some time off without a contract. If he is looking for time off, we saw a similar situation with Becky Lynch in recent years.
