Speedball Mike Bailey Reveals The Continental Classic Moment When He ‘F*cking Lost It’
Speedball Mike Bailey is typically a pretty chill human being, but even he has his limits.
The 2025 Continental Classic is officially in the books. The finals of the tournament saw Jon Moxley defeat Kazuchika Okada in what many would call a shocking upset at AEW Worlds End. Unfortunately for Speedball Mike Bailey, he failed to advance to the semi-finals when he lost his final C2 match against the Rainmaker.
On the latest Speedball Vlog, Bailey spoke about his final Continental Classic matchup against Okada and directed his anger and frustrations towards Okada’s manager, Don Callis.
“You (Kevin Knight) got seven, you and Pac got seven points,” Speedball said. “Everyone else got six, except Okada and Kyle, who are now in the finals. So, okay, I was like, I lost, I got pinned, and I was like, man, that hurts.
But you know, at least I lost to Okada, and I was starting to feel good, and Don Callis walked into the ring, and I just f*cking lost it. I was like this bald motherf*cker. I just want to go out there and dropkick the shit out of him.” [H/T: Fightful]
Why did Speedball Mike Bailey wear Kevin Knight’s gear at AEW Worlds End?
Despite not competing on the main show, JetSpeed still competed in an eight-man tag team match on Zero Hour. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Bailey was wearing Knight’s gear during the match instead of his own.
During the same Vlog, Bailey confirmed the prevailing theory as to why he wore Knight’s gear on Saturday. The airport lost his luggage.
“So, I won’t have wrestling gear for tonight. So I’m going to have to figure that out. And I know what you’re saying, I know what you’re thinking. If anyone in the business is listening, you’re thinking, ‘Well, you’re not supposed to check your gear.’ And I know, but I fly out of a very small airport, so I can’t [carry it on.] If I bring a carry-on, they make me check it anyway. So, yeah, thanks. I’ll figure it out.”
