Recent reports revealed that Chris Jericho’s AEW contract is set to expire at midnight on December 31. It also noted that WWE had internal discussions over the idea of having Jericho return on the January 5 episode of RAW rather than waiting until the Royal Rumble.

Chris Jericho Confirms He’s Not Done Wrestling Just Yet
During his recent appearance on The Tim Weisberg Show, Chris Jericho discussed what lies ahead for him in 2026. After talking about some acting gigs that would keep him busy, he also shared that he’s “pretty sure” that people will see him in a wrestling ring somewhere in the new year.
“Well, you never know, man,” Jericho said. “That’s the thing. I’m not done yet, so [I’m] still figuring out everything, and I’ll see where I end up. But I’m pretty sure you’ll see me in 2026 in a wrestling ring somewhere.”
