Kristin Blaze Calls WWE’s Bianca Belair Her Dream Opponent
Kristin Blaze wants to battle Bianca Belair.
In 2024, FIU alum Kristin Blaze officially traded in her pole vault pole for a pair of wrestling boots, with her training beginning at Gangrel’s Coastal Championship Wrestling facility in Florida. Since then, Blaze has continued to learn from Gangrel, all while immersing herself in the work of legends from the 1990s and the present day.
“Right now I’m studying a lot of 1980s to early 2000s storylines and everything,” Blaze told WrestleZone’s Ella Jay. “The story of the match, each match has a story, and you tell it with your body and everything, that’s what I’m learning. I’m watching a lot of 1-2-3 Kid, Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Shawn Michaels, of course. I would say today’s day and age, I love watching Bianca Belair, The EST.
“And obviously Charlotte Flair, Tiffany [Stratton], I love their high-flying, their athletic [moves]. Tiffany was a gymnast as well. I love watching her in-ring. Rhea Ripley, of course, but right now, I’d say Bianca Belair and the 1980s to the early 2000s.”
According to Blaze, her admiration for former Raw WWE Women’s Champion Bianca Belair extends so far that she now views her as the ultimate dream opponent.
“She’s The EST and I’m the 1%, so I feel like there’d be a [natural connection]. She’s awesome. She’s powerful and she can high-fly, too. She’s got it all. I think that would be an absolute great match. She is my dream match,” Blaze said.
Currently, Belair remains on the shelf after sustaining multiple broken fingers at WWE WrestleMania 41. Meanwhile, Blaze is working her way up in the CCW rankings.
