AEW Star Was Terrified Of Getting Thumbtack Stuck In His Penis During Cage Match

Kyle Fletcher was dreading a thumb tack spot for an understandable reason.

Fletcher recently spoke with Fightful‘s Sean Ross Sapp. During the conversation, Fletcher reflected on his steel cage match against Will Ospreay at AEW Revolution. The match between the former friends featured a spot that saw Ospreay hit a Spanish Fly on Fletcher from the top of the steel cage. That match also saw other weapons introduced during the course of action, including a bag of thumb tacks.

Kyle Fletcher told Fightful that he was not only scared of the spot itself, but Ospreay was too. Fletcher also said that he was afraid of the thumb tacks used in the match hurting, as he feared having one get stuck in the tip of his penis.

“Obviously, terrified of the Spanish Fly. I was deathly afraid. We both were. It didn’t hurt too much. It was all good. It all came off pretty gravy,” Fletcher explained. “The one that I was dreading also going into it was the thumbtacks, the Styles Clash into the thumbtacks. My idea, my suggestion. Whatever, kill me, I love it, but before I was like, ‘I just don’t want to get one right in the tip of my penis. I just don’t want one in my penis. Please.’ Luckily, we went unscathed. Definitely dreading that one.”

Kyle Fletcher said he was afraid of that painful moment, but didn’t exactly confirm that it happened. However, he did recently post this teaser, leaving fans to guess where he pulled a bent thumb tack out of:

Kyle Fletcher recently defeated Dustin Rhodes to win the TNT Championship on AEW Collision. This was his first title win of any kind during his tenure in All Elite Wrestling.
