One Of Ron Killings’ New Shirts Has A Questionable Phrase On It

Ron “R-Truth” Killings is back in WWE and with new merchandise.
Truth made a shocking return at WWE Money in the Bank. Now, he is performing under his real name of Ron Killings. Additionally, his signature dreadlocks are no more as he dramatically cut them off on WWE Raw.
With his new look and name came a trio of new shirts on WWE Shop. One of them reads “Killings is the Truth.” Another refers to the “We Want Truth” chants that echoed throughout recent WWE shows. The last one plays off the “Killings” name, although it takes on a more mature context. This shirt features a photo of the former WWE Tag Team Champion alongside the words “Killings Spree.”
While the first two shirts have elicited an overall positive reaction, the reactions to the third one remain mixed. One of the glaring concerns attached to it is the “Killings Spree” phrase itself, which implies a string of crime and violence, specifically murder.
“Lmao that Killings Spree shirt ain’t gonna go over well if a kid wears it to school,” wrote one X user, referring to the likely negative consequences of a young fan wearing it to school.
“I dig the Killings Spree shirt idea but I can already envision it being worn by someone in a mugshot after they caused a fatal car crash or something,” wrote another.

Another pointed out the juxtaposition between WWE’s focus on a family-friendly product and the darker connotations of the merch. “Ngl, ‘Killings Spree; is a WILD tagline to market to a (theoretically) family friendly audience. I’m surprised nobody vetoed that one,” wrote @_YaDoneMessedUp.
The official item description, per WWE Shop, is as follows:
“The WWE Universe became unglued when a masked assailant tackled John Cena during the main event of Money In The Bank 2025, only to reveal himself to be Ron Killings before blasting Cena with the Undisputed Championship. Show that you’re excited to see what’s next for this one-of-a-kind Superstar by snagging this Ron Killings Superstar T-Shirt. Grab this tee before heading to the next premium live event and feel as though you could shift the tides of the WWE Universe with a rousing chant.”
