Several Injuries Occur At Last Night’s MLW Fightland Taping
During last night’s MLW Fightland tapings, several injuries occurred to various members of the talent roster. A new report from PWInsider has offered an update on the injury statues of Nicole Savoy, TJP and Alexander Hammerstone.
Nicole Savoy was stretchered the back following the conclusion of her match with Holidead. Following this, Savoy was sent to the hospital with Dave Prazak (the agent for the match). The pair never returned to the show, and it is now known that Savoy has broken a rib.
TJP was initially scheduled to take part in a second match on the show, but was ultimately pulled from working the second bout. This decision was made following TJP picking up a knee injury, however it was believed that he could have “gutted it out”.
Alex Hammerstone had to have a splint on his ankle following his MLW National Openweight Championship match against Jacob Fatu.
Finally, the report notes that Savio Vega, Homicide, Josef Samuel, Konnan, Dave Prazak and Mike Patrick all worked as agents for the show. Court Bauer was also involved, as he helped lay out the Alex Hammerstone vs Jacob Fatu main event alongside Vega and Samuel.
MLW Fightland will air this Thursday on VICE TV.
