The Miz Gets Major Role for WWE’s First Sunday Night’s Main Event
The Miz is set to play a big role as WWE gets ready to launch its first-ever Sunday Night’s Main Event tonight. The event features a packed lineup which comprise of title and grudge matches.
The event takes place live from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. It features several big matches and special appearances. The action is scheduled to start with a YouTube pre-show at 7:30 p.m. ET, followed by the main card on NBC at 8 p.m. ET.
The Miz and Joe Tessitore are hosting the WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event pre-show
Ahead of tonight’s event, The Miz took to social media to reveal that he will host the pre-show for the first Sunday Night’s Main Event. The former WWE Champion also hinted that his role will go beyond the opening part of the show.
In a video shared before the event, The Miz explains that a host has an important job in setting the tone for what viewers are about to watch.
“Anybody can be part of the show. The important person tells you why you are watching. Tonight, I host Sunday Night’s Main Event pre-show on YouTube at 7:30 PM Eastern from the Okerlund position with Joe Tessitore. Then watch Sunday Night’s Main Event on NBC at 8 PM. You are not going to want to miss it because I am going to be all over that show as well,” he said.
The Miz also brings up his “Miz Method” while promoting his role for the big night.
