AEW Star MJF Has a Lot to Say About WWE Stars Trick Williams & Oba Femi

Former AEW World Champion MJF has praised WWE stars Trick Williams and Oba Femi. The two rising stars have impressed MJF with their potential. MJF recently appeared in the top spot on PWI 100.

The annual list featured several major WWE stars. Trick Williams and Oba Femi also made the Top 10. Both WWE stars have made significant progress recently. Williams has established himself as a major main roster name. He also captured the United States Championship during his rise.

Meanwhile, Femi has also created plenty of attention. His rivalry with Brock Lesnar became one of WWE’s biggest storylines. The rivalry eventually reached its conclusion at WWE SummerSlam. Femi and Lesnar competed in a Hell in a Cell match. The bout was reportedly Lesnar’s final match of his career.

MJF believes Trick Williams & Oba Femi have a bright future

Speaking with Pro Wrestling Illustrated, MJF discussed the wrestlers featured on PWI 100. He specifically had plenty of praise for Williams and Femi. He described Williams as a great guy, “Greay guy… Trick Williams in the number eight spot. Talk about a guy, he’s only been on national television for a very short period of time.”

MJF revealed that he first met Williams at LaGuardia Airport. “I got to meet Trick actually at LaGuardia Airport, in my opinion the best airport in New York state. And we chopped it up a little bit. Got to hang out with him again recently at my friend Dip’s party. It was good. He’s just a good guy, you know? I like him. I know this is more than five words but great guy, boatload of potential. Yeah, nothing bad to say there.”

MJF also discussed Oba Femi during the interview. He also praised Femi’s personality and physical presence. “Another guy that’s represented by my pal, Brian Dipperstein. Great dude and very large. A very large man and another guy with a boatload of potential.” [H/T: 411mania]
