Hulk Hogan’s Bizarre Midget Wrestling Show Featured A Surprising AEW Cameo

An AEW star once made a surprising cameo in Hulk Hogan’s bizarre midget wrestling show.
Micro Championship Wrestling was a promotion founded by late wrestler Johnny Greene and was associated with Hulk Hogan through a 2011 television project, Hulk Hogan’s Micro Championship Wrestling. The show debuted on truTV in September 2011 and was cancelled after just one season of five episodes.
One of the episodes featured a surprising uncredited appearance from current AEW star Roderick Strong. A clip of that resurfaced on social media and is gaining traction. Strong played Chris, a drunken frat boy who got into a tussle with Johnny Greene, who got more screen time than Hulk Hogan in the show, and the little-person wrestlers over an apparent payment dispute.
He tried to diffuse the situation by saying he loves little people. However, one of the micro wrestlers took offense to it and insisted that he refer to him as a midget. However, when Roderick Strong refused and called him a little guy, the wrestler took him down and forced him to pay up.
Hulk Hogan shares regret over controversial OJ Simpson comments in final interview
Netflix’s Hulk Hogan: Real American documentary features the WWE Hall of Famer’s last interview before his passing last year. In the fourth episode, Hogan expressed regret over the controversial OJ Simpson comments he made during a Rolling Stone interview in 2009.
Hulk Hogan was in the middle of a messy divorce with his first wife, Linda, at the time. Frustrated over her dating a much younger person, he noted that he could’ve turned everything into a crime scene like OJ Simpson.
“I spent three days with Rolling Stone. I thought the guy was my friend. He warmed up to me, we became buddies. And all of a sudden, we’re sitting on my back porch and drinking beer on the beach. [We] had a little buzz on, and he asked me about OJ Simpson,” Hulk Hogan began.
“I said, ‘Wow, brother. I’ve been that jealous and mad at a girl that I completely understand how he flipped out.’ But I would never do that, I would never go there. I wish I’d never done the interview with Rolling Stone. I went home, and I started drinking and started eating pills. And I just went down this rabbit hole for a couple of days. And the next thing I know, I’m in front of my bathroom with a gun in my mouth and not knowing what I was doing,” Hulk Hogan said.
