WWE’s The Miz Sees Las Vegas Being A Regular WrestleMania Host City
The Miz recently praised Las Vegas as being a great host city for WrestleMania.
WWE brought its premiere event of the year, WrestleMania, to Las Vegas the past two years. WrestleMania 43 is scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia, but there are already rumors that WWE could return to Sin City in the future.
The Miz took part in the WWEdding ceremony ahead of WrestleMania 41, where the Must-See WWE star officiated five couples’ weddings. After everyone said ‘I do,’ The Miz spoke with the media, where he highlighted everything that Las Vegas has to offer.
“Of course, [I see Las Vegas being in the WrestleMania rotation for a long time]. I live in Las Vegas now. I love Las Vegas, I love the fact that everything is so compact,” said Miz, who recently sold his LA mansion. “It doesn’t take five hours to get to a place; it takes 20 minutes. Five-minute walk here, five-minute walk there. There’s so much to do. There’s so much opportunity, not just for adults, but for kids, for everybody. It’s very family-friendly.
“I think it’s the perfect place for any type of sports events, whether it’s Super Bowl, NBA Finals. We’re getting [an NBA] team, so let’s go. Baseball, I can’t wait for the new stadium to open. I can’t wait to see what they do,” he continued. “It’s going to be state of the art. It’s going to be second to none. And man, they really do a good job in this city to make it inclusive for everybody.”
The Miz has main-evented WrestleMania (27), hosted another (WrestleMania 39), and now officiated multiple weddings. He also hosted this year’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, too.
Despite all the chaos each one provides, The Miz still says WWE legends require a bit more crowd control than a typical Vegas party.
“I don’t want to raise my hand to take care of any WWE legends, but I tell you what, it will be the most fun night you’ve ever had in your entire life. As far as a bachelor party or a bachelorette party in Las Vegas, that’s what this city brings, right? Literally, you can go down the street and have a family-friendly amusement park or a water park or some sort of video game arcade, but then you can go right down and you can see the bachelor or bachelorette just going nuts and having a blast. So who’s harder? It’s always going to be the WWE legends.”
