Dwayne Johnson and the cast members have officially revealed the title and trailer of the upcoming Jumanji movie at CinemaCon.

The fifth installment in the Jumanji film series went into production in November 2025, and lead actor and WWE legend Dwayne Johnson/The Rock revealed that it will be the final movie of the franchise. Now, he and his co-stars, Kevin Hart and Jack Black, appeared at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, where they showed the first trailer of the film.

It revealed the movie’s title as Jumanji: Open World. The trailer features Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan in the real world as different versions of their avatars, and shows that the chaos from the game has crossed over into the real world. Johnson’s Dr. Smolder Bravestone character now speaks with a Spanish accent. Alex Wolff’s Spencer Gilpin explained the characters, and Hart and Black’s characters are stuck in “Demo Mode.”

The cast members shared their experience with Jack Black, saying he’s never had more fun working on a movie and that Jumanji: Open Word was his favorite. Kevin Hart, on the other hand, took a shot at Dwayne Johnson, saying shooting a film alongside the WWE legend can be tough. He even said, “you don’t fu**ing know these people,” when Johnson thanked some of the exhibition executives, calling it, “it’s such Hollywood bull*hit.”

Dwayne Johnson also paid tribute to Robin Williams, the star of the original film, sharing that half of the dice used in the new movie was the one used in the 1995 Jumanji.

Directed by Jake Kasdan, Jumanji: Open World has an ensemble cast, including Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, Danny DeVito, and Morgan Turner. The movie will hit the screens on December 25, 2026.
