WWE’s Kofi Kingston ‘Beyond Grateful’ For Seth Rollins’ Super Bowl Generosity
The Super Bowl didn’t go Kofi Kingston’s way, but at least he had a seat in the stadium thanks to Seth Rollins.
The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks played in Super Bowl LX on Sunday night at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Seth Rollins was on hand due to his duties with NFL Network, and he decided to invite Kofi Kingston to join the festivities.
Kofi, a noted New England Patriots fan, shared a text exchange between himself and Rollins, who offered him a free ticket to the game. The average ticket price hovered around $3,000-4,000, so Kofi made sure to thank Rollins and his wife, Becky Lynch, for a really nice gesture.
“Wish the result was different, but I have to thank Seth & Becky for making this possible,” Kofi Kingston said. “Watching your team play in the Super Bowl is such a rare experience & I’m beyond grateful for their thoughtfulness. BIG Salute to the Cap’n & The Man! ? I am forever indebted…”
Rollins ultimately apologized to Kofi for sending him to the game after the Seahawks dominated the Patriots. The Seahawks won 29-13, but the game was fairly one-sided for most of it.
“I thought I was doing a nice thing,” Rollins said on Good Morning Football. “It did not go well for him.”

After the loss, Kofi said that he was “calling out sick from work” on Monday. He said fans should not expect to see him and asked that they don’t message him so he could recover.
This Super Bowl loss might sting, but the Patriots have won the Lombardi trophy six other times, so it probably won’t hurt for too long.
