Jim Ross’s Reaction To Name Of AEW Star’s Finisher Is Hilarious
Jim Ross loved the name of a top AEW star’s signature submission maneuver.
Legendary pro wrestling commentator and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross returned to All Elite Wrestling on the first Dynamite of 2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, last night. He made his way out to a big ovation from the crowd and joined Excalibur and Tony Schiavone in the booth.
Later in the evening, during the match between Toni Storm and Marina Shafir, Jim Ross added his classic flair to the action. As Shafir locked Storm in her signature submission hold, JR had a hilarious reaction after learning its name, “Mother’s Milk.”
“Mother’s Milk. What a name! What a Mother’s Milk! How’d she win? All Mother’s Milk! I love it!”
Jim Ross Denied The Racism Allegations Made Against Him By D-Von Dudley
Speaking on his Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross opened up about the racism allegations made against him by fellow WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley. The legendary commentator denied the claim, saying he doesn’t recall having such a conversation with Dudley.
“Well, recently I heard that D-Von Dudley thought that I was a racist,” Jim Ross began. “That’s so absurd. It doesn’t merit a response. I like D-Von, I like him today. I hired he and Bubba, and I thought we did a good job in booking them. They made money, they were put in situations where they could do the things they do best. Those TLC matches were pieces of art. They’ll last forever. The Dudleys are a major part of that.
“I was shocked to hear that, because I don’t recall ever having a cross word with D-Von Dudley. I always respected him and his work. I loved the Dudley tag team. So, it took me totally off guard. I never said that to D-Von Dudley.”
In response, D-Von Dudley doubled down on the allegation, recalling two incidents from when he alleged that Jim Ross made the racial remarks.
