Colby Corino Signs Multi-Year Deal With The NWA
Colby Corino is sticking with the National Wrestling Alliance for the long haul.
The NWA announced that Colby Corino has signed a multi-year contract with the promotion. Additional terms of the deal were not announced; however, the NWA touted it as a long-term contract.
Corino has been rehabbing from a career-threatening fusion injury. Corino, a former NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion, had emergency neck fusion surgery in July 2025. The NWA continued to share updates on Corino’s recovery on NWA Powerrr on Roku, and the second-generation wrestler made a miraculous on-air return on December 9, 2025.
Colby Corino vowed to make a full in-ring return as soon as he was medically cleared, and he vowed to win the promotion’s top prize.
“Just because I’m broken now doesn’t mean I won’t come back stronger, smarter and better than ever to fulfill my destiny,” Corino said. “That’s to win the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship!”
Colby Corino first appeared in the NWA in 2021, and won the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship in 2023. He is the son of former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion “The King of Old School” Steve Corino, and he set out to follow in his father’s footsteps by winning the famed “Ten Pounds of Gold.”
Despite not being cleared to compete on a full-time basis yet, Colby Corino is scheduled to appear at NWA’s February 21 television tapings at Tampa’s WEDU PBS Studios. Tickets for the double taping are on sale now at NWALiveEvents.com. Fans can also tune into NWA Powerrr on Roku every Tuesday at 8 PM ET on Roku Sports.
