TNA Wrestling have had talks about holding live tapings.

TNA is making some big moves heading into 2026. The promotion recently entered into a new media rights deal with AMC. TNA iMPACT will remain on Thursday nights but will shift from the 8–10 PM slot to 9–11 PM starting January 15.

In his official statement to WrestleZone, TNA President Carlos Silva hailed the partnership as a “milestone day” and thanked the fans, staff, performers, Anthem board, investors, sponsors, and partners.

Silva previously said a new media rights deal would provide TNA the opportunity to go live 52 weeks a year. He didn’t go as far as confirming that it would happen. However, he did tease that TNA will be live more frequently on the AMC Networks.

Update on TNA’s plans for live tapings

In a new edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that the promotion has had discussions about holding live tapings at Full Sail University following the new broadcast deal with AMC Networks.

“Going live weekly had been talked about in regards being possible with a new paying deal. At one point TNA was in talks with Full Sail University in Orlando, FL, about being the home of live tapings but it appears right now they will be doing revolving locations as they have done all this year.”

TNA stars are in El Paso for tonight’s Final Resolution event. The full card was announced last night on iMPACT, which fans can see here.
