This WWE Legend Played A Neo Nazi In An Iconic Children’s Movie
WWE legend Kerry Von Erich once made a surprising cameo in the 1990 children’s comedy Problem Child.
Kerry Von Erich made a brief appearance as a neo-Nazi inmate during a prison scene in the movie. Kerry showed up in the scene featuring Michael Richards, who played the film’s villain, Martin Beck, a dangerous criminal being released from prison.
In the scene, Kerry Von Erich, credited simply as ‘Neo Nazi,’ stood among the intimidating inmates who surrounded the Richards character in the scene. He had a few lines of dialogue with Richards as he read his letter; however, his presence was meant to look threatening.
Although the cameo was small, it has become a notable piece of trivia among pro-wrestling and movie fans. Sadly, Kerry Von Erich’s real-life story ended in tragedy. He died by suicide on February 18, 1993, just two weeks after his 33rd birthday, passing away on his father’s property.
The Von Erich family’s heartbreaking history has recently come back into the spotlight thanks to the movie The Iron Claw. The critically acclaimed movie portrays the rise and tragedies of the legendary wrestling family. Jeremy Allen White played Kerry Von Erich, while Zac Efron portrayed his brother Kevin Von Erich.
