Hulk Hogan’s son is training with an NWA star inside the ring.

Late WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan’s son, Nick Hogan, recently posted a picture of himself with reigning NWA World Television Champion Bryan Idol. He mentioned in the caption that he had a “Solid workout” with Idol.

While he didn’t say anything about officially training to become a pro wrestler, wrestling fans are already asking questions. Nick Hogan trained under WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi back in 2009, but then decided not to follow in his father’s footsteps.

Hulk Hogan also once said that his son was slated to take on Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 39, but WWE officials refuted the claim.

Apart from being an NWA wrestler, Bryan Idol is also a lead trainer and the National Promoter of the Fight The World Wrestling Academy in Florida. Nick Hogan recently appeared as the on-screen acting commissioner of Real American Freestyle, a promotion founded by his father, Hulk Hogan.

It’s yet to be known if Nick Hogan will carry Hulk Hogan’s legacy as a pro wrestler or if it was just a routine training session with Bryan Idol.

The Hulk Hogan Sex Tape Documentary Lawsuit Recently Reached A Settlement

Nick Hogan filed a lawsuit against radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge over a documentary on Hulk Hogan’s infamous sex tape scandal.

According to a press release, Woltz Films and Bubba the Love Sponge settled with Terry McCoy and Nick Hogan, and the show started streaming on platforms like Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and Google Play.

The press release read:

“The parties in the matter of Terry McCoy and Nicholas Bollea, as Personal Representatives of the Estate of Terry G. Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan), v. Bubba the Love Sponge® Clem, pending in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division, have signed a settlement agreement. Woltz Films, LLC, which intervened as a co-defendant in the action, was also a party to the settlement.

“The settlement follows the Court’s September 22, 2025, Order dissolving the Court’s previously entered Temporary Restraining Order and denying the Estate’s injunction to prevent the publication of the documentary entitled VIDEO KILLED THE RADIO STAR.

“Reaching this settlement allows all parties to put the legal process behind them and ensures the film can be viewed in its intended form,” said a spokesman for Woltz Films.”
