The Young Bucks Receive A Threatening Message And A Knife On ‘BTE’
The Young Bucks were riding high after last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. However, a threatening message seemed to bring them back to reality.
This week’s episode of ‘Being The Elite’ saw the Young Bucks celebrating their win in the $500,000 ten-man tag team match. The new episode also saw them get a threatening message and a knife in the mail. As seen in the episode, the Bucks opened an envelope containing a knife and a note that said, “For the next time you want to stab me in the back.”
The note and knife might seem random at first. However, it’s pretty clear who the sender is implied to be if you’ve been paying attention.
Jack Perry has not been seen in AEW for months. He has not wrestled for the promotion since losing the TNT Championship to Daniel Garcia at Full Gear 2024. However, he’s been passing his time by posting some of his activities on Instagram. This includes Perry making knives at home, including one out of the handle of a pine cone. Perry has continued to post videos of his knifemaking hobby over the summer, making the connection to the Bucks’ knife plausible.
Perry’s return was also teased a few weeks ago during another episode of ‘BTE.’ During an August episode of the web series, the Bucks received a phone from Perry. However, they chose to ignore the call. The Young Bucks recently lost their “EVP” titles and Matt ignored Jack’s call, so it seems likely that AEW will continue to build to Perry’s eventual on-air return through Being The Elite.
