WWE might’ve revealed the next career Gunther is going to end.
Former two-time World Heavyweight Champion Gunther has emerged as the “Career Killer” in WWE after retiring legendary names like Goldberg, John Cena, and AJ Styles. The Ring General walked into this week’s RAW, gloating over his victory against Styles at the Royal Rumble. However, what happened next might’ve revealed the next career he’s going to end.
AJ Styles’ former tag team partner, Dragon Lee, couldn’t stand Gunther mocking the Phenomenal One and tried to take him down. However, he ended up getting choked out by the Ring General. Now, fans are speculating that WWE might have subtly revealed that Rey Mysterio, who has been working with Lee, could be Gunther’s next target.
Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee are in the LWO together and also recently worked together against the Vision alongside Penta. Fans believe Mysterio would look to avenge Lee’s attack in the coming weeks, which will eventually lead to Gunther retiring him at some point down the road. Some fans believe that honor should belong to Dominik, but it’ll be interesting to see which legendary WWE figure Gunther targets next.
Gunther epically drags a WWE fan who drove 9 hours to meet him
Speaking to The Undertaker and Michelle McCool in a recent episode of their Six Feet Under podcast, Gunther recalled an interesting conversation he had with a WWE fan.
The fan told Gunther that she had driven nine hours to meet him at a meet-and-greet event. However, staying true to his heel character, the Ring General told her not do something like that again and to do something beneficial with her time instead.
“I did a meet and greet recently, and there was one person they said drove like nine hours or something to the meet and greet. And I said to her, ‘Appreciate it, but never do that again. Do something with your time that actually benefits you. It’s like a waste of time.’
“She looked a bit sad, but I felt like that’s the only responsible thing to say at that point. I don’t know, I feel like if my kid drove somewhere to see a person, I wish the same message would be transferred,” Gunther said.
