MJF is heading back to the big screen for a sequel that many didn’t see coming.

The 2022 holiday action comedy Violent Night, starring David Harbour, brought in $76 million worldwide during its box office run. While the movie became quite popular after being released on digital, no one truly expected the movie to get a sequel.

But that all changed today when Deadline announced that AEW‘s MJF and influencer Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor have joined the cast of Violent Night 2. Harbour will return as Santa Claus. Friedman is currently in Winnipeg filming his part for the movie. What role he will play in the film is currently unknown.

This isn’t the first big movie role for MJF, as he has also appeared in Happy Gilmore 2 and The Iron Claw.

Violent Night 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on December 4, 2026.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
