Eddie Kingston Looks Almost Unrecognizable In Update On In-Ring Return

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen Eddie Kingston on AEW programming, and he looks much different from the way you remember him.
Eddie Kingston suffered MCL and meniscus tears in a match against Gabe Kidd at NJPW Resurgence back in May 2024. Due to the nature of the injury, The Mad King wasn’t able to have surgery to repair these injuries until July, putting him roughly a year away from a potential return to the ring.
Kingston’s journey to recovery has been a long road, but he recently shared an incredibly positive update that teases his impending AEW return.
The former AEW Continental Champion took to his Instagram Stories to share a photo of himself, revealing that he’s back in the ring training. Featuring the very Eddie caption: “Fucking ring”
In addition to being back in the ring, we get an up-close look at The Mad King, and he looks almost unrecognizable compared to how we last saw him in the ring over a year ago. You can check out that image embedded below.

Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more on Eddie Kingston’s AEW return as it becomes available.
