CM Punk Shares The Best ‘Advice’ He Ever Got From Dominik Mysterio
CM Punk shares his thoughts on Dominik Mysterio and the ‘advice’ he got from the WWE Intercontinental Champion.
Dominik Mysterio recently completed 20 years with WWE. He first appeared on WWE TV in 2005 during a highly talked-about storyline involving his father, Rey Mysterio, and Eddie Guerrero. The story led to a dramatic ladder match at SummerSlam 2005, where Rey fought Eddie for custody of Dominik.
To celebrate Dirty Dom’s 20 years, WWE posted a video on their YouTube channel. In it, several WWE Superstars, including CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Finn Bálor, Damian Priest, JD McDonagh, Chad Gable, and Raquel Rodriguez shared the advice Mysterio has given them over the years.
CM Punk, who has had a rocky on-screen relationship with him, didn’t hold back. Speaking in a sarcastic tone, Punk said, “Any advice Dominik has given me, boy. Dominik is a leader, and I feel he leads by example. It’s not often that he will volunteer his nuggets of wisdom. I more like to just watch how he moves, you know. Like, for instance, you know, he wears the chest thing in the shirt when he wrestles.”
“A lot of people don’t know he does that because a lot of the tattoos he got are misspelled because Dominik can’t read. Spoiler. So, you know, sometimes you just cover up your mistakes, you know, like wear a shirt, stuff like that. That’s why I don’t wear a shirt, ’cause all my tattoos are really good and cool.”
Punk ended his comments by mocking Dominik’s family issues, saying “He’s taught me a lot about being a good brother and a good sibling. Loves his sister, you know. He’s just taught me about life, really.”
