AEW Collision Viewership Increases On 5/17, Demo Drops

AEW Collision saw a slight increase in viewership on May 17 when the show moved back to Saturday night and had an unexpected run-in with The Rock.

According to Wrestlenomics, Collision averaged 398,000 viewers on Saturday. The show drew a 0.08 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is slightly up from last week’s episode, when an average of 382,000 viewers tuned in. The demo dropped from last week’s show (0.09 rating in the same demographic).

With the final 30 minutes not airing on the East or West coast due to The Rock’s DC movie Black Adam starting early. It’s unknown how much this affected this week’s numbers.

Viewership for Saturday’s show on MAX is also unknown at this time.

What happened on AEW Collision this week?

This week’s show kicked off with Megan Bayne defeating Anna Jay.

Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara defeated Lio Rush and Action Andretti to earn a title shot at The Hurt Syndicate.

Elsewhere on the show, Speedball Mike Bailey defeated Blake Christian.

In the main event of the evening, Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Wheeler Yuta. Marina Shaifr attacked Hobbs’ injured knee after the match, but Willow Nightingale made the save
