Fightful has shared some backstage notes from Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts on TBS, which you can check out below:

Eddie Kingston was originally intended to be part of the Blood & Guts match between Team AEW vs. The Elite but was sidelined due to injury. It was always the plan for Team AEW to emerge victorious.

Dean Malenko narrated the pre-main event video package. Following surgery last year to address his Parkinson’s disease, Malenko reportedly appeared like a “new man.” He is highly regarded among the backstage personnel, and everyone appreciates his sense of humor.

Kamille’s debut was intentionally kept under wraps. She has been under contract with AEW and receiving compensation since February. Her backstage appearance in January was followed by contractual negotiations and her eventual signing. Preparations for Kamille’s debut, including graphics and related elements, have been in the works for some time.

And finally, AEW surpassed their previous ticket sales record from their last visit to Nashville for Dynamite.
