Lil Yachty Delivers The People’s Elbow to Ricky Saints at WWE Night of Champions

Lil Yachty made his presence felt at WWE Night of Champions.
Yachty accompanied Trick Williams for his United States Championship defense against Ricky Saints. The match took a controversial turn when Saints attempted to gain an advantage by pulling a page out of Eddie Guerrero’s playbook. He grabbed Yachty’s kendo stick , struck it against the steel steps, and then collapsed to the mat in an attempt to make it appear as though Yachty had attacked him.
The referee was convinced by the deception and immediately ejected Yachty from ringside, forcing him to head to the back. The finish of the match saw Williams hit Saints with a Trick Shot for the win.
Yachty then re-emerged during the post-match chaos, seizing the moment to get his revenge. With Saints still nearby, Yachty attacked him with a kendo stick, turning the tide in a split-second.
Williams then encouraged Yachty to deliver one final signature shot, asking him to hit the People’s Elbow. Yachty obliged, dropping Saints with the iconic move. Michael Cole referred to the maneuver as the “Yacht Drop” during commentary.
