Club WWE Adds Classic RAW Episodes With Batista, John Cena & Brock Lesnar
WWE has added four full classic episodes of RAW to Club WWE. Members can now watch some memorable shows featuring stars such as Batista, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Kevin Owens, and Roman Reigns.
The episodes span from 2009 to 2016. They include major matches, returns, title changes, and moments that helped shape some of WWE’s biggest storylines. WWE has also confirmed that the episodes are currently exclusive to Club WWE and are not available through Netflix’s WWE RAW Vault.
The four classic Raw episodes now available through Club WWE
The episodes included are:
- September 14, 2009 – Batista returns to take on Randy Orton
- September 20, 2010 – John Cena faces Nexus in a gauntlet match
- August 18, 2014 – The Authority presents Brock Lesnar with a new title; Nikki Bella stuns Brie Bella
- August 29, 2016 – Kevin Owens wins vacant Universal Championship
The September 14, 2009 episode features Batista’s return to WWE TV. He had been out after suffering a legitimate torn biceps injury that forced him to vacate the WWE Championship. Batista’s injury had been worked into a storyline involving Randy Orton and Legacy. The returning Animal faced Viper in a No Holds Barred Match.
The September 20, 2010 episode takes fans back to when Cena faced The Nexus in a Gauntlet Match. Cena had become one of the main targets of Wade Barrett’s faction. The match put Cena in a tough position as he tried to fight through members of the group one by one.
The August 18, 2014 episode came with major developments after SummerSlam. Lesnar got his hands on the newly unified World Championship after his victory over Cena. Nikki Bella also publicly addressed her shocking betrayal of her twin sister, Brie Bella.
The August 29, 2016 episode featured one of WWE’s most memorable title changes of the decade. Finn Bálor had suffered an injury at SummerSlam, forcing the newly introduced Universal Championship to be vacated. WWE then had to crown its second champion. Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Big Cass competed in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match for the vacant title.
