Brains Behind WWE Star Dominik Mysterio’s AAA TripleMania Main Event Revealed — Report
A former WWE United Kingdom Champion reportedly produced Dominik Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano at AAA TripleMania 34.
After some intense buildup, Dominik Mysterio defended the AAA Mega Championship against El Grande Americano at TripleMania 34 Night Two in Mexico City last night. Despite Liv Morgan’s interference, Americano prevailed to become the new Mega Champion. WWE Hall of Famer and AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio counted the pinfall after the original referee was taken out during the match.
This past weekend yielded mixed results for the Judgment Day. Roxanne Perez became the No.1 contender for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship at TripleMania Night One. However, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan lost their titles. The latter lost the WWE Women’s World Championship to Stephanie Vaquer at a live event in Santiago, Chile.
WWE’s Pete Dunne Produced AAA TripleMania 34 Main Event
During the show, Corey Brennan of Fightful Select reported that former WWE United Kingdom and NXT Tag Team Champion Pete Dunne was producing the main event AAA Mega Championship match.
Pete Dunne started working as a producer for AAA in July 2025. In addition to that role, the WWE star also portrays the masked character Rayo Americano alongside Tyler Bate as Bravo Americano. They are part of the Los Americanos faction led by El Grande Americano.
Dunne and Bate won a fatal four-way tag team elimination match against Fraxiom, Tokyo Bad Boys, and Latino World Order on Night One of TripleMania 34 in Las Vegas.
